Why the Trust Is Being Established
Brattleby is a noble title — a feudal barony — held by Lady Nicoleta Vasile as the 12th Baroness, recorded via a notice in The London Gazette. It carries no estate, hall, manor or other physical property; it is a Lincolnshire village historically associated with the title only.
Lady Nicoleta Vasile and Honorary Lord Răzvan Vasile (by marriage) intend to establish the Brattleby Heritage Trust as a vehicle for genealogical and heraldic research, digital archiving, and education connected with the title and its history. That process is under way, but the Trust is not yet registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

This page describes what the Trust intends to do if and when registration is achieved. It is a statement of future intent, not a description of current charitable activity.
Intended Areas of Work
Digitisation of Records
Once established, the Trust intends to digitise and publish, on an open-access basis, the genealogical and heraldic records associated with the Barony of Brattleby, so that scholars and the public may consult them freely online.
Published Scholarship
The Trust intends to commission and publish scholarship on the history of the Barony and its title-holders, made available through the Noble House of Brattleby's digital archive.
Bursaries for Study
Subject to registration and future funding, the Trust intends to offer bursaries to support study in heraldry, genealogy and etiquette, awarded through transparent and published criteria.
Etiquette Education
The Trust intends to support wider access to the Noble House of Brattleby's online etiquette and heritage education courses, including means-tested reductions where resources allow.
No Donations Are Being Accepted
As the Trust is not yet registered, we are not able to accept donations, payments, or legacy commitments of any kind. If you would like to be kept informed of registration and future plans, please register your interest.

A Statement of Intent
The Trust is not yet a registered charity and cannot, at this time, receive legacies, bequests or any form of charitable gift. Anyone wishing to be informed once registration is complete is welcome to register their interest with us.

Should registration be achieved, the Trust intends to publish its governing document, its objects, and the names of its trustees in full, in line with the requirements of the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

Until registration is complete, no donations, payments or financial commitments of any kind are being requested in connection with the Trust.

No. Brattleby is a noble title recorded via a notice in The London Gazette. There is no estate, hall, manor or other physical property associated with the title, and no visits, tours or venue hire are offered.
