The Winter Banquet 2025

The Winter Banquet 2025, the third annual edition of the flagship charity gala of The Noble House of Brattleby, was held at One Whitehall Place — the magnificent former headquarters of the National Liberal Club, a Grade I listed building on London's Whitehall. Under the gracious patronage of Honorary Lord Răzvan Vasile (by marriage) and Lady Nicoleta, Baroness of Brattleby, the Twelfth, together with Mihai Alexandru Crăciun, the 13th Baron of Brattleby, and Miss Alina, guests were cordially welcomed to a white-tie celebration honouring the most distinguished leaders and visionaries of the construction, architecture, and engineering world.

One Whitehall Place is no ordinary venue. Since the late 19th century, its walls have hosted the thinkers and reformers who shaped modern Britain. The building features the largest suspended spiral marble staircase in Europe — crafted in the 1880s without a single pillar — and secret passageways beneath Whitehall rumoured to connect to the corridors of power. It was one of the first buildings in London to be fully lit by electricity, its columns wrapped in vivid Victorian tilework from Burmantofts pottery.

The evening programme began at 18:30 with the exclusive Baroness's Drinks Reception for Platinum guests, followed by the seating of guests and welcome speeches at 19:30. A three-course dinner was served from 20:30, accompanied by speeches, charity fundraising, and cultural performances. Dancing and entertainment continued until 00:30, with carriages at 01:00 and an exclusive after-party at a private members' club for Platinum guests from 01:30 to 03:30.

The event raised funds for Healing the Wounded Child, a Community Interest Company founded by Maria Elliott (Rhea) offering global support to children, adults, and teenagers facing trauma and mental health challenges. Using visualisation, music, stories, art, and therapeutic tools, the charity helps individuals across the world heal and grow. The white-tie gala was supported by Magnus Opifex Seven Ltd. and The Noble House of Brattleby.

The event drew international media attention from ELLE Romania, Click Romania, Avantaje, and Monaco Voice. During the evening, Honorary Lord Răzvan Vasile (by marriage) delivered a speech reflecting on the four fundamental laws of a life lived in balance, while Baroness Lady Nicoleta spoke of nobility as 'not a matter of title, but of tone — revealed in how one rises when everything has been taken away.' The evening concluded with the couple's opening dance, a moment that captured the spirit of the entire occasion.
